General Description
A workshop dedicated to veterinarians who want to master the fundamentals of digestive flexible endoscopy and begin integrating minimally invasive procedures into their daily clinical practice.
The program includes a full day of applied theory, case studies, and video demonstrations, followed by an intensive hands-on day on simulators and tissues, working in small groups.
Workshop Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will acquire the essential theoretical and practical skills needed to begin performing digestive endoscopy:
Anatomy and functioning of the flexible endoscope
Adjustments, handling, positioning, and procedural safety
Correct navigation techniques for the upper and lower digestive tract
Biopsy sampling: methods, instruments, technical errors
Endoscopic foreign body retrieval
PEG placement: indications, technique, post-procedure care
Real case analysis and recommendations for integrating procedures in daily practice
